Abigail Apple Card

Hello all!  I am using my Abigail Apple card in the Copic challenge at The Outlawz Challenge site for the week of 6/2/11 to 6/09/11. The challenge is pink and green, my two favorite colors to use together.  It took me a few tries to get the coloring right.  This is my very first card colored with Copics.  It is completely different than using Prisma colored pencils with the odorless mineral spirits.  I think it turned out pretty good.  The image is a rubber stamp set I purchased from Stamping Bella's by Kraftin Kimmie Stamps.  This is a really nice quality stamp set. I tried to keep this one pretty simple.  So here it is, please leave a comment good or bad, or any tips on coloring with Copics that you might have for me.

Here is a picture of the card with the envelope I made for it.  Funny thing is I didn't even look for a piece of paper for the envelope until the card was finished, and this one matched perfect!

I am trying to teach myself how to edit video as well.  I hope to add a video of putting the card together and the making of the envelope.  Keep your fingers crossed!  Have a great night and I will post again this weekend.

This is sooo super cute! It makes me want to eat a green apple, LOL! Your coloring is so fantastic. Did you use a digi or rubber? I'm beginning to thing digis will always be muddy and mean to me!

And thank you for your kind words you left on my blog. :) I really appreciate it.

Cely, it is an actual stamp set from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps, I purchased on line at Stampin Bella's. Try drying your digi's with your heat tool, and I only use the Prisma colored pencils with digi's, if I use the copics they get all nasty.

Kelly, I am not able to be a follower. At least I don't see how to.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I was already following over here, but I can't say I remember seeing your blog in Reader lately... Anyway, LOVE this card! The coloring and white highlights are fantastic!

(would you mind turning off word verification?)
