I am still working on the craft room. But I have decided to name it "Le Salon Rose"! Sounds fancy, doesn't it? Well the funny thing is it just means The Pink Room! Since my husband took me to Paris and London in 2010, I have fallen in love with Paris. So my little piece of relaxation at home will remind me of the most beautiful city in the world! </span></div><span style="font-size: small;"><br />
</span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">Here are some pics of the crating of the craft desk!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-N_zv8SYKbkE/T4zcXGYrNKI/AAAAAAAAAe0/eT3YjTqmGgg/s1600/188.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-N_zv8SYKbkE/T4zcXGYrNKI/AAAAAAAAAe0/eT3YjTqmGgg/s400/188.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;"><br />

</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: small;">The best part, I made it myself! The only help I needed from my hubby was putting the two center support beams in, and lifting the top (the top was very heavy!) The measurements are 96 inches long, by 38 inches wide and 37 inches high! It's a beast, and it is never leaving this room because it can't! Let me know what you think! I love, love, love it! Can't wait to be able to just sit there and craft all day long! I will keep you posted. I should have a card and notebook combo posted sometime this week. It's made and I have to give as a gift at work tomorrow. It's my first Imagine project.. </span></div>Kelly Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12644658048712131289noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4512991023285276568.post-57688788637186388302012-04-07T13:00:00.001-04:002012-04-07T13:01:20.267-04:00Pink in the Rink Highlights!<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I know this post has nothing to do with crafting but I just had to share! Back in January our local hockey team the Adirondack Phantoms had a game dedicated to breast cancer awareness. It's called Pink in the Rink. Lots of AHL and NHL teams do this annually, but this was my first. As I love the color pink and we are season ticket holders I was very excited indeed. About a month after the game they auctioned off the game worn jerseys' and yes they are PINK! I was luck enough to win #38's jersey (who just happens to be my favorite player) I got him to sign the Jersey and it will now live in my new pink craft room (when I am not wearing it to games. Here are some pics!</span></span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Don't they look AWESOME! </span></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-XUtOHpjS0yA/T4Bv3ewgJ5I/AAAAAAAAAeI/AobSTzDoxuA/s1600/327.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-XUtOHpjS0yA/T4Bv3ewgJ5I/AAAAAAAAAeI/AobSTzDoxuA/s400/327.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Here is my favorite player! Real men do wear pink, and I now own this very jersey game worn,autographed and unwashed!!</span></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wZNUUK4Ozrs/T4BwQVr_cuI/AAAAAAAAAeQ/9Hk7lAQz2TU/s1600/296.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wZNUUK4Ozrs/T4BwQVr_cuI/AAAAAAAAAeQ/9Hk7lAQz2TU/s640/296.JPG" width="480" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">It was amusing to watch the game, when one team is in pink and the other was in there normal tough looking uniforms. They even had pink socks!</span></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-coW3VeIsRBU/T4Bw-29f5rI/AAAAAAAAAeY/zcoBaTbCbrs/s1600/303.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-coW3VeIsRBU/T4Bw-29f5rI/AAAAAAAAAeY/zcoBaTbCbrs/s640/303.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">Of course our beloved Mascot Dax the Beaver went all out too!</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-5C-8Ed4-3rU/T4BxgYD9jnI/AAAAAAAAAeg/XJxKGPNaFYU/s1600/307.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-5C-8Ed4-3rU/T4BxgYD9jnI/AAAAAAAAAeg/XJxKGPNaFYU/s640/307.JPG" width="480" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I just love Dax so much and the Pink hair was awesome on his giant orange body, so I had to have a picture with him!</span></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qiaX-vNontk/T4Bx1dzXuPI/AAAAAAAAAeo/SxXQxOp_lNA/s1600/329.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qiaX-vNontk/T4Bx1dzXuPI/AAAAAAAAAeo/SxXQxOp_lNA/s640/329.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

I promise! Really....<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Hello crafty friends! I have been MIA for so long I apologize. My life got a little (really a lot) crazy back in October. Here's the past 6 months in a nutshell; Mom's Alzheimer's was getting pretty bad. On 10/7/11 my husband and I celebrated our 11th anniversary, on 10/8/11 at 2 in the morning my Mom fell. She didn't hurt herself but we realized she needed round the clock care, we could not afford to have only one income so we had to get her placed in a home. The home she landed in decided to mess around with her drugs (without my permission as I am her health care proxy) After 3 weeks there and 4 trips to the ER for either a fall or her having a behavioral episode</span></span><span style="font-size: small;"> ( <span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">all caused by the home taking her off her drugs cold turkey and putting her on anti psychotics! Mom is not psychotic!) She spent the </span></span><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">next 4 months in the hospital! I had to fight tooth and nail to get her back on the correct meds! I got her old PCP to finally take her case back. The other nursing homes in the area would not take her in because the first nursing home had labeled her as a "problem" patient with violent outbursts!! I have taken care of my Mom for the last 20 years 12 of them with Alzheimer's she is NOT violent! Finally a home about a half hour away from us took her on. Over the past month she is settling very well, unfortunately she has been suffering some non responsive periods, had a bad drug interaction, and now her kidneys are failing. It is a never ending battle to make sure the Dr's stay on her care. But I will say the nursing and CNA staff at this facility are great. They actually care and love the patients and it shows. I haven't felt much like crafting so I have been redoing my Mom's old craft room to be my new craft room!! It is turning out awesome. Here are some pics!</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Ok no peaking at the back ground that will be revealed in an upcoming room tour video! Pretend you do NOT see the awesome TINK PINK walls!</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">We bought two of these stools a few years ago and they just kinda sat in the basement at the roulette table, but didn't get much use. </span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-T1JeOS3PVgI/T30GUR7mBUI/AAAAAAAAAcM/D-RqEbTCk4E/s1600/183.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-T1JeOS3PVgI/T30GUR7mBUI/AAAAAAAAAcM/D-RqEbTCk4E/s640/183.JPG" width="480" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">So I decided to redo them</span></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">Now they look like this!!</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Here is a close up of the lace trim I added to make it ultra girlie girl!</span></span></td></tr>
</tbody></table><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Q4-R6-uWdrE/T30JROdB-xI/AAAAAAAAAd0/OcsPQuJqbDE/s1600/186.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Q4-R6-uWdrE/T30JROdB-xI/AAAAAAAAAd0/OcsPQuJqbDE/s400/186.JPG" width="400" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">I didn't take a before of this next chair, but it is a Stickly dining room chair that is Oak wood and had a cornflower blue textured material. But not anymore!</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9kLKCVs8ajg/T30KcLvB9PI/AAAAAAAAAd8/onoSlHQd1-Y/s1600/191.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9kLKCVs8ajg/T30KcLvB9PI/AAAAAAAAAd8/onoSlHQd1-Y/s640/191.JPG" width="480" /></a></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">And I redid an old foot stool to match!</span></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;"><br />
</span></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;">Later this week I will post pics of the awesome craft desk I built (yes I built all by myself, power tools and all)</span></div><div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I have been checking in on a lot of blogs lately and the cards </span><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">and projects have been awesome, can't wait to start crafting again!</span></span> (The room is gonna take a few more months to complete, but I will be posting odds and ends during that time. Miss you all!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

I just wanted to drop a quick note to apologize for my lack of contact with you all. My life has just gotten so out of control, I had no choice to drop a few of my activities. My Mom's Alzheimer's and some of her other medical issues have taken the forefront in my life. I will be back eventually but I need to focus on her and my own medical issues right now. I try to grab a few seconds to check out all of your work when I can and as usual you all are just crafting queens!!! Your projects make me happy and I know you will all still be here when I come back! Hope everyone is happy and healthy.. Miss you all.Kelly Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12644658048712131289noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4512991023285276568.post-77830808999980490272011-08-08T01:29:00.000-04:002011-08-08T01:29:44.650-04:00Hawaii Paper Party Hello Kitty Blog Hop!<div style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: lime;"><i><b><span style="font-size: large;">Happy Birthday Cely!</span></b></i></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

I hope everyone had a great weekend. We had excellent weather here in upstate NY. (Finally) My project this weekend was a gift for a friends birthday. I decided not only to make part of the gift but to make the gift boxes as well.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">This is the Key Chain and Earrings that I made </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mTU98uKpVws/TjYag9EaXjI/AAAAAAAAAYE/GOVXKsHgvcY/s1600/001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="238" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mTU98uKpVws/TjYag9EaXjI/AAAAAAAAAYE/GOVXKsHgvcY/s320/001.JPG" width="320" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Here are the boxes </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tY4cKZagybM/TjYar__lk0I/AAAAAAAAAYE/s6INZZdUS2A/s1600/004.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-tY4cKZagybM/TjYar__lk0I/AAAAAAAAAYE/s6INZZdUS2A/s400/004.JPG" width="300" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div style="text-align: center;">And here is the finished set tied up with an Iridescent Ribbon</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8yNeqzYjoc0/TjYaws04EKI/AAAAAAAAAYE/xJtMTrXDyIQ/s1600/007.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8yNeqzYjoc0/TjYaws04EKI/AAAAAAAAAYE/xJtMTrXDyIQ/s400/007.JPG" width="300" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">I used patterned glitter card stock on all of the lids, and a corresponding small patterned or plain card stock for the bottom of each box. The lids are all made 1 inch smaller than the bottoms, this was so you could see both the top and bottom of the box to give more color and texture to the project. The card stock was from DCWV 8 x 8 Citrus paper pack . </div><div style="text-align: left;">The small box is 2 x 2 x2 and embellished with Plumeria Dew Drops and a Sun/Moon charm held on by a silver brad.</div><div style="text-align: left;">The medium box is 3 x 3 x2 and embellished with MS punch anywhere Butterfly with a Sunflower Dew Drop for the head, edged with spiced marmalade Tim Holtz Distress Ink and glitter added to the wings. Attached with Zip Dry glue.</div><div style="text-align: left;">The large box is 4 x 4 x2 and embellished with 2 Fiskars 2" Daisy punches, held on by a medium flock covered white brad. The flower edges were edged with TH Distress Ink in Spiced Marmalade and a Studio G $1 ink pad (lime/metallic green). I used Zip Dry glue in between the daisies to keep them lined up.</div><div style="text-align: left;">The Tower is held together with 5/8 inch iridescent ribbon.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">I am entering this project at The Outlawz in the July Paper a la Mode Challenge for the week of July 30th.</div><div style="text-align: center;">Have a great week everyone.</div>Kelly Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12644658048712131289noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4512991023285276568.post-31492929856034148912011-07-29T00:26:00.001-04:002011-07-29T00:27:11.596-04:00What a great deal!!I thought I would share this deal with you all. You get Cindy Loo and Jubilee for free when you buy any other Cricut or Cricut Imagine Cartridge for $34.95 or more. I purchased Wild Cards (I was watching some videos on My Pink Stamper) today and she was using that cartridge. I never realized how cute and versatile it was. My total with shipping was $54.95 that is just ridiculous for three full content cartridges. Even if you already have one of the free cartridges you could use it for a gift or Blog Candy. So everybody hurry on over to Cricut Machine's website. Click on the advertisement at the top and it gives you all the directions.<br />

I was so excited to try it out, it worked so well I had to do a video. I just love this product and can't wait for Martha to release more templates. I left a review on HSN and went back to check others today. Well to my surprise two people had left a one star review. I couldn't believe it. If anyone has purchased this item and is having difficulties please leave a comment and I would be happy to help you out. It really is an awesome product. Enjoy the video.<br />

Woo Hoo! I am currently working on a few cards to post later this week. I hope you enjoy the tips. <div style="text-align: left;">Since filming the video I have purchased another spice rack and am using for all of my eyelets, it is set up the same way as the brads, by color and then specialty categories. I also have filled in my garage sale purchase with my stamp pads, it worked great, as you can see below, it even holds the large Big and Juicy ink pads. I think I may end up painting it after all, but white not pink, because the walls in my new paper crafting salon will be pink. Talk to you all soon. Have a great rest of the week.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

Let me start by saying so sorry I haven't been on for awhile, taking care of my Mom and having some back issues has really gotten me down :( , but I must continue on so.... About a week ago Robyn at <a href="http://www.mypinkstamper.com/2011/07/design-team-call-my-pink-designers.html">My Pink Stamper</a> listed a Design Team call on her blog. I really wanted to try to get on her team because she is seriously one talented lady, but better than that she seems like a really nice and genuine person (very rare these days). The challenge was to use Orange, Turquoise, Brown, Green and other optional color or your choice on a cricut project using your favorite cartridge. At first I thought what the heck can I make with those colors! Then I was cleaning the living room (Dusting, I hate dusting!) and it just popped into my head! I was dusting my autographed Dan Marino Miami Dolphin helmet. Well that takes care of all the colors with the optional color gray for the dolphin. It's not my best work, I made it after having 2 hours of sleep in 48 hours, so I actually think it turned out not to bad! So here it is (sorry the picture is crooked)<br />

Here is a cheap fix, and it turned out AWESOME!I found that I haven't been using my paper punch as much as I would like, because I HATE digging out the two totes they were stored in. I would have to lug them out and then pretty much empty the totes out on the floor. So I just stopped using them. I looked on YouTube for some videos on punch storage and found a few different ideas. The one I liked the most used peg board and kitchen towel rods. I wasn't fond of the kitchen towel rods so I thought about it awhile and came up with Cafe curtain rods. So here are a few pics of the project my Husband and I made this weekend.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Here it is just finished still on the living room floor. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-i0__10uk6kc/ThKOMI-DVAI/AAAAAAAAAUA/RXxpo8xUHyE/s1600/013.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-i0__10uk6kc/ThKOMI-DVAI/AAAAAAAAAUA/RXxpo8xUHyE/s400/013.JPG" width="300" /> </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Here it is empty on the wall.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">(currently in my sewing/craft room, my paper crafts will have their own Hot Pink room in the late fall)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Here it is fully loaded! There is a lot of weight on this rack and it is completely stable! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

I have a four part tutorial on the Hershey Nugget slider boxes that I am currently trying to edit an upload to youtube and the blog. Please forgive me for poor sound quality. I think my Ihome for my Ipod was causing static. But as I don't have the time or patience to refilm they are going up as is. They should be up in a few hours.Kelly Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12644658048712131289noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4512991023285276568.post-43660672914732430672011-06-21T22:26:00.001-04:002011-06-22T15:00:13.504-04:00The Irresistibly Sweet Blog Award!The Sweetest person I have met through blogging sent me this wonderful award! Well my life is still nuts, but I do have a project to post. Woo Hoo! I just got some video editing software that I am trying to learn how to use. I didn't realize I would need to return to college to figure it out! So the video on making one of these will be in the future, hopefully the near future. But for now here are a few pics. I will print the recipe when I have the video completed.<br />

I did receive a package from Carpe Diem Store today, 6 more Copic Sketch markers to add to the collection and 25 Prisma colored pencils. They have great prices $.78 for the pencils and the Sketch were $3.87 on sale. That is the best price I have found yet. Well maybe by Thursday I will have a project or two to share. Don't give up on me girls! I am planning on doing a give away when I reach 50 followers, but I won't post a picture of the goodies until I reach 25! I want to thank all the ladies who made such sweet and supportive comments because of my problems with my Mom and her Alzheimer's.Kelly Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12644658048712131289noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4512991023285276568.post-24598766476622292442011-06-14T00:31:00.000-04:002011-06-14T00:31:01.667-04:00Sometimes life gets in the way of crafting!Sorry I don't have a new project to post yet. Sometimes life gets in the way of crafting. I take care of my elderly Mom with severe Alzheimer's disease. She hasn't been sleeping at night only during the day, and because I am at work during the day, I haven't been able to change her schedule. Well to make a long story shorter, I asked her Dr to prescribe a sleeping pill for her, he felt a second anti depressant with a side effect of drowsiness would be better. Well... It made the dementia about 100 times worse over the past several days! I think I got a total of 7 hours sleep in three days! Needless to say, I have stopped that particular drug and am getting up every few hours at night to check on her and letting her sleep during the day until I can get her Dr to prescribe a drug that helps her sleep but doesn't worsen the Alzheimer's. So hopefully I will have a small project or two sometime during the week.Kelly Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12644658048712131289noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4512991023285276568.post-85281276242138381002011-06-09T22:54:00.001-04:002011-06-09T22:55:33.619-04:00Basic Card Assembly VideoHere is my second YouTube video. I tried a little basic editing and added music. It is a basic card assembly video mostly for beginers to get an idea of attaching and placing certain elements, I added a few tips with the annotations option. This will probably be pretty boring for most of you, but as I am just learning about making and publishing videos, I prefer filming something easy, later I will try the turorials with me actually in the video not just my hands.<br />

I am using my Abigail Apple card in the Copic challenge at The Outlawz Challenge site for the week of 6/2/11 to 6/09/11. The challenge is pink and green, my two favorite colors to use together. It took me a few tries to get the coloring right. This is my very first card colored with Copics. It is completely different than using Prisma colored pencils with the odorless mineral spirits. I think it turned out pretty good. The image is a rubber stamp set I purchased from Stamping Bella's by Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. This is a really nice quality stamp set. I tried to keep this one pretty simple. So here it is, please leave a comment good or bad, or any tips on coloring with Copics that you might have for me.<br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Here is a picture of the card with the envelope I made for it. Funny thing is I didn't even look for a piece of paper for the envelope until the card was finished, and this one matched perfect!</div><br />

</div><div style="text-align: left;">I am trying to teach myself how to edit video as well. I hope to add a video of putting the card together and the making of the envelope. Keep your fingers crossed! Have a great night and I will post again this weekend.</div>Kelly Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12644658048712131289noreply@blogger.com5
